Welcome to Hidden Creek Wedding and Event Venue Nestled on a scenic farm in Newton, NC, Hidden Creek offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. Conveniently located between Lake Norman and Hickory in Catawba County, our venue serves as a peaceful country getaway for your special day. At the heart of the property is our grand barn, which opened in the Spring of 2019. This sophisticated space allows couples to enjoy an "outdoorsy" atmosphere without sacrificing refinement. Surrounded by beautiful pastures and crisp fresh air, the venue offers photo-ready scenery around every corner. Hidden Creek is equipped to host up to 200 guests (without a marquee) , making it ideal for both intimate gatherings and large celebrations.

We offer a variety of event spaces, including:

•The Grand Barn: A spacious indoor setting for receptions and ceremonies.

•The patio: Landscaped paved patio area including large gas fired fire pit.

•The farm: Friendly livestock, all rescued, that love being fussed over (apart from Andi)

•The pond: A large 1 acre pond, stocked with fish and fed with a breathtaking waterfall and sitting area. (under construction)

•The Gazebo: Often used for the ceremony, always used for photos.

Latest News - 2006 Wedding Expo

The Hickory Convention Center expo has come and gone, and for our very first showcase, it was a massive success. We were blown away by the traffic—the cake and bubbly disappeared even faster than the North Carolina rain!

To our future couples: Thank you to everyone who stopped by to talk about the barn. We are working through our list to reach out to you all. If you haven't heard from us yet, please don't hesitate to give us a call—we want to make sure we don't miss a single one of you.

To our fellow vendors: To the planners, caterers, and service providers—thank you for the kind words and compliments on our progress. As we put the finishing touches on the landscaping, the new gazebo, and the pond (which is quickly becoming a lake!), we want to host you properly.

Coming Soon: The Hidden Creek Open House We are planning an open day featuring plenty of wine, cheese, and hors d'oeuvres. We don’t have a firm date yet as we are still deep in the remodeling, but we expect to announce it in the next few weeks.
